The Passage View Motel is a 30 room oceanfront accommodation, located in the city of Campbell River, on east side of central Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

The motel directly overlooks the shores of the Discovery Passage, Quadra Island and the snow-capped Coastal Mountains.

The motel is located on the ocean side of the Island Highway. With no highway between your accommodation and the passage, you get an unobstructed ocean view from all 30 rooms.

Our guests are welcome to use our private beach access to visit the rocky shores of Discovery Passage, directly below the motel.

Wake up to the sounds of Bald Eagles and other seabirds patrolling the skies and beaches. From your private balcony or patio, watch the seals play in the kelp beds while you enjoy your morning coffee or our complimentary light take-away breakfast (available May 1st through October 1st each year). With luck, you may even spot a pod of Orcas or dolphins frolicking out in the passage.
Storm Watching
During off-season (October 15th through May 14th), the Passage View is a storm watcher's paradise. Experience nature's fury, from the comfort of your motel room, while you watch the ocean waves churn, roll and crash upon the shore.
