Hike through British Columbia’s oldest provincial park – Strathcona Provincial Park, or choose one of the many other hiking trails in the Campbell River region. Go skiing or boarding at Mount Washington during the winter or visit beautiful Paradise Meadows on warm weather days.
Beaches
Saratoga Beach and Miracle Beach are each a twenty minute car ride away. Both beaches are dog friendly.
Go for a dip and sunbathe on the sandy beach at McIvor Lake, about fifteen minutes away, up the Gold River Highway, on hot summer days.
Waterfalls
If waterfalls are your passion, be sure to visit Elk Falls, located a short 15 minute drive away from the motel, up the Gold River Highway. Check out the drone footage of the suspension bridge on the Elk Falls website.
